Prime’s Leighton Chumbley and Vikki Town will be at the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) Annual Conference in December to meet members and present a workshop on how to get the most from property partnerships.
The Association’s annual conference runs from Wednesday 5 December to Friday 7 December and is being held at the Hilton Metropole in London. The ‘Brighter Together’ event offers members the chance to hear from some of the most prominent figures in the NHS alongside key policy makers, politicians, clinicians and professional and technical experts.
In October, Prime became a HFMA corporate partner and led a thought-provoking and well-attended talk by Finance Director Vikki Town and Chief Investment Officer Phil Holland at the HFMA Estates Forum in November.
For the annual conference in December Chief Executive Leighton Chumbley and Finance Director Vikki Town will lead a workshop on Wednesday, day one of the conference. The session will draw on Prime’s long experience in partnering with the NHS to support the delivery of strategy, increase NHS commercial capacity, create value from public and private funding, and improve financial outcomes. The workshop will also offer pointers on when and how a property partnership can help deliver these objectives either for a single project or as part of an estate-wide programme.
Leighton said: “The conference is a chance for us to really immerse ourselves in the HFMA, catch up with old and new contacts and find out what’s on people’s minds. Our workshop will draw on practical examples of how a property partner can help unlock value, generate Trust income and improve the care experience. We’ll be around throughout the event and are hosting a table at the Awards dinner, to hand-over the Innovation Award.
“Property is such a hot topic for the NHS, so we’re looking forward to exploring ways innovative finance and property solutions can create value and support the delivery of NHS strategy, rather than simply pushing estate on the ‘too difficult pile’.”
