Will Bilbrough

Technical Development Director | Development

Will brings a combined 35 years of experience in architecture and property development, with a significant focus on the healthcare sector.

As a qualified architectural technologist, he has a strong foundation in building design and construction. Prior to joining Prime’s development team in 2002, he worked for several leading architectural firms in the West Midlands.

Will’s background in design provides a well-rounded perspective on property development. He has the ability to view projects from unique angles, helping clients visualise designs and bring their ideas to life, often achieving this while meeting challenging affordability and programme requirements.

As the lead for Prime’s Living Sector, Will is currently developing design and technical information to support a pipeline of key worker residential developments for Hyve by Prime that aims to address the critical demand for desirable, affordable key worker housing.

Recent project highlights include the delivery of the Yeovil Diagnostic Centre for Somerset NHS Foundation Trust that will provide a wide range of diagnostic tests and outpatient appointments. The building achieved BREEAM Excellent certification, net zero upfront embodied carbon, and delivered significant on-site biodiversity net gain.

Will also served as Project Director for The Harborne Hospital, in Birmingham and a €140m primary care PPP deal in Ireland, where a Prime-led consortium delivered 14 new primary care centres across the country for the Health Service Executive.

A key aspect of Will’s success in delivering such large and complex multi-partner projects is his ability to rapidly build robust, integrated client and project teams. By focusing on strong relationships, effective communication, and mutual trust, he creates the ideal environment for innovative property solutions to be delivered on time and within budget.
