Ben Worsley
Hyve House Manager | Asset Management, Hyve Management | BSc (Hons)
Ben is House Manager for Hyve’s key worker accommodation at Damers and Albany Court and Alexandra House in Dorchester. He is responsible for creating a positive living experience for residents and ensuring the smooth day-to-day management of the accommodation. Working closely with tenants, the hospital’s Estates and Facilities teams and Hyve colleagues, Ben helps maintain high occupancy levels while ensuring residents feel supported, safe and at home.
Ben brings extensive experience from Dorset County Hospital, where his career began in housekeeping at the age of 16. After graduating from the University of the West of England with a BSc (Hons) in Sport Rehabilitation, he returned to the Trust and quickly progressed into a supervisory role before becoming Accommodation Team Lead. In this role, he managed the hospital’s staff accommodation and worked closely with teams across estates, facilities, security and portering services.
Having previously managed the same accommodation buildings he now oversees for Hyve, Ben has a deep understanding of both the accommodation needs of NHS staff and the operational requirements of the hospital. His practical experience, local knowledge and collaborative approach help ensure residents receive a high-quality service throughout their stay.
"Many NHS staff arrive in Dorchester for the first time when they take up a new role. Supporting them as they settle into a new area and helping them feel comfortable and at home is the most rewarding part of my job. Being able to make that transition easier for people is what motivates me every day."
