Vale of Evesham School

Vale of Evesham School, a special education needs (SEN) school in Worcestershire, serves around 150 pupils aged 3 to 19. With the support of The Prime Foundation, the school received funding to enhance their early years provision with outdoor play equipment.

With this funding, they were able to purchase a variety of items, including a Giant Tickle Me Sensory Tunnel, a Whizzy Dizzy Spinning Balance Top and Jumping Bean Bag Game.

These new additions to the school’s outdoor play area provide exciting opportunities for the children, particularly those with complex needs, to engage in activities that can help develop their motor skills and encourage positive interactions with peers and staff. The play equipment supports role-playing scenarios and, overall, adds to a joyful and interactive outdoor playtime experience – creating a wonderful foundation for future growth both outside and inside the classroom.

“Children in our early years' classes at Vale of Evesham School (a generic all age special school) are learning through play with the fantastic new outdoor play equipment which was funded thanks to the Prime Foundation. Children’s motor skills, role play, and peer interaction have been met with a variety of sensory, balance and stimulating apparatus which has resulted in a lot of happy smiling learners.”
